Like many other health systems across the country, our system faces long-term financial challenges. Our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, while necessary for the health of our communities, only increased those challenges. More importantly, our country’s health system is broken. It is unaffordable and inaccessible for too many people, and it hasn’t evolved to meet today’s care needs and opportunities. We need to find new ways to deliver high-quality healthcare that are affordable, accessible, and just plain easier for everyone involved. Our actions include new strategic investments and cost reduction measures that will help us keep meeting the needs of our community today and into the future. These changes will also allow us to continue fulfilling our promise to bring breakthrough healthcare to people across Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.
The following primary care clinic locations are closing effective December 4, 2020. Click here for a map of our primary care clinic changes.
We will close the Ways to Wellness program at the end of 2020. Through this transition time, we remain committed to you, our clients. We hope you will book sessions and continue to see your coaches and chef over the upcoming and final weeks of operation. We are winding down through the end of the year and will continue scheduling appointments through December 18.
We are proud of the impact this program has had among the people it served since its launch in 2006. We will continue to apply the learnings and momentum it attained in other ways as we continue toward our vision for a health system that helps our patients and communities achieve health and wellness. Whether you have been a client with us for one class or for several years, thank you for making us part of your wellbeing journey.
